Ayrshire Independent Living Network in Girvan is seeking a compassionate PA Support Worker to provide one-to-one support for a young woman in her home and local community. This part-time role focuses on rebuilding daily living skills, independence, and confidence with a person-centred approach.

The successful candidate will encourage independence, assist with daily living tasks, and accompany the individual on community activities, while maintaining confidentiality and professional boundaries.

Responsibilities

• Encouraging confidence with personal care.
• Supporting independence in the kitchen and bathroom.
• Assisting with dressing and choosing weather-appropriate clothing.
• Supporting with light household tasks, including placing laundry in the basket or washing machine.
• Preparing light meals and picnics in line with a vegan diet, with guidance from her dietitian.
• Providing companionship and encouragement to access the local community.
• Supporting her to feel safe both at home and when out and about.
• Using patience and reassurance to help overcome social anxiety and build confidence.
