Job summary

Independent Lives in Haywards Heath is seeking a part-time PA/Care Assistant to support a client at home. The role includes driving, housekeeping, diary management and attending events, plus some personal care with training provided.

Hours are 12 per week with shifts between 10am and 8pm, on-site and in the South of France if required. The ideal candidate will be team-oriented, willing to learn manual handling and healthcare equipment, and able to work in a small care team.

Qualifications

• Willing to learn manual handling skills.
• Willing to learn how to use healthcare equipment.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Assist with driving a van, light housekeeping and admin tasks.
• Attend events and accompany employer on outings.
• Provide personal care tasks and support from care team as needed.
• Support with meals, medications (rare) and general daily living.
• Work as part of a small home care team in Horsted Keynes and abroad if required.
