Domestic Abuse Outreach Practitioner (Part-Time)

In partnership with a recognised charity dedicated to supporting BAMER (Black, Asian, Minority Ethnic and Refugee) women, children, and men experiencing domestic violence and abuse, I am recruiting for a committed and empathetic Domestic Abuse Outreach Practitioners to join the team on a part‑time basis.

The Role

As an Outreach Practitioner, you'll provide direct, responsive support to individuals in crisis situations – day and night. You'll help create a safe, confidential, and empowering environment that respects each person's dignity and individuality. Working closely with the Service Coordinator and refuge team, you'll play a vital role in the day‑to‑day running of the supported accommodation and outreach services.

What You’ll Bring
  • Available to work 18.5 hours per week, either Monday to Wednesday or Wednesday to Friday
  • Fluent in Punjabi, Gujarati, or an African language, with the confidence to communicate across cultures
  • Holds a full UK driving licence and has access to their own vehicle
  • Flexible to work across Leicester and surrounding areas
