Zusammenfassung

Part-time Registered Nurse post in the General Outpatients team at Washington Galleries Outpatients Department, South Tyneside and Sunderland NHS Foundation Trust. The role provides nursing support across a varied caseload, working alongside clinicians and allied health professionals, and covers the department when the Ward Manager or Junior Sister is absent.

Current NMC registration as a Level 1 adult nurse is needed to apply.

Qualifikationen

• Diploma in health related study or equivalent appropriate qualification.
• Current NMC registration as a Level 1 adult nurse (or evidence of qualification if newly qualified).
• Experience of working in an acute hospital or community healthcare setting.

Aufgaben

• Deliver safe, effective and compassionate nursing care to patients.
• Work to the NMC Code at all times.
• Supervise non-registered staff in line with NMC delegation requirements.
• Lead and help manage the department when the Ward Manager or Junior Sister/Charge Nurse is absent.
• Provide nursing support across a diverse patient caseload with clinicians and allied health professionals.
• Protect patients' privacy, dignity and psychological wellbeing and keep care patient centred.
• Work across sites including Washington Galleries Health Centre and Sunderland Royal Hospital.
• Collaborate with senior nurses to ensure high standards of patient care.
• Comply with the Trust's vision, values and behavioural compact.
