Scrivens Opticians is seeking a GOC-registered optometrist for a part-time role in Royston, UK. You will conduct comprehensive eye examinations, provide tailored spectacle and contact lens advice, and collaborate with branch teams to ensure exceptional patient care.

The position offers flexible working patterns (Wednesday 9:00–18:30, Friday 9:00–17:30, alternate Saturdays 9:00–16:00) and opportunities for CPD and professional development within a supportive, family-run environment.

Qualifications

• GOC-registered Optometrist with current registration.

Responsibilities

• Conduct 25-minute eye examinations with thorough patient care.
• Diagnose and manage eye health conditions.
• Advise on spectacle and contact lens options tailored to individuals.
• Build relationships with customers and branch teams.
• Collaborate with branch team to drive service delivery and growth.
• Participate in local enhanced service schemes and pre-registration supervision when applicable.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge through CPD training.
