Job summary

Arcus FM is seeking a part-time Office Cleaner in Belfast to join our team on a permanent 10-hour-per-week contract. The role runs 11:30am–13:30pm, Monday to Friday, at an hourly rate of £13.45.

The successful candidate will help maintain clean, safe, and hygienic offices for employees, clients, and visitors. Duties include cleaning desks, meeting rooms, reception areas, corridors, restrooms, and glass surfaces, with on-the-job training provided for safety procedures and PPE usage.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in commercial or office cleaning (preferred but on-the-job training provided).
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, supplies, and safe handling procedures.
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
• Attention to detail and a high standard of cleanliness.
• Good time management and reliability.
• Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks (standing, lifting, bending, etc).

Responsibilities

• Clean office areas, including desks, meeting rooms, reception areas, corridors, and restrooms.
• Empty bins/clean fridges.
• Vacuum carpets, sweep, and mop hard floors.
• Wipe down and disinfect surfaces such as desks, countertops, and door handles.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors as required.
• Replenish supplies in restrooms, kitchens, and break rooms.
• Report any maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor promptly.
• Follow proper cleaning and health & safety procedures, including use of PPE and cleaning chemicals.
• Ensure cleaning equipment and supplies are stored safely and maintained in good condition.
