Job summary

Childbase Partnership in Twyford is seeking a Domestic Assistant to join our childcare team. This role supports cleanliness, hygiene, and safety across the nursery environment, with a focus on organised restocking and daily housekeeping tasks.

You will work Monday to Friday, 15:00–18:30, 17.5 hours per week across 52 weeks, with a pay rate of £12.87 per hour. We value teamwork, safeguarding, and high standards of cleanliness that contribute to a welcoming setting for children and families.

Qualifications

• COSHH knowledge and safe chemical handling.
• Ability to work well within a team.
• Understanding safeguarding principles within a nursery setting.
• Commitment to maintaining high hygiene and cleanliness standards.

Responsibilities

• Restock supplies in bathrooms and kitchens.
• Empty bins and sweep/mop floors; dust areas as needed.
• Assist with high-level cleaning and dusting.
• Support kitchen team with washing-up.
• Assist with laundry duties.
• Maintain overall cleanliness and hygiene across the Nursery.
