Job summary

Kids Planet Horsforth is seeking a motivated Domestic Assistant to join our friendly nursery team. This part-time role (10 hours per week) focuses on keeping all spaces clean, safe and welcoming for children and staff.

You’ll follow hygiene guidelines, carry out regular cleaning tasks, and contribute to a thriving, inclusive environment where every child can flourish. Training and development are provided through KP Academy.

Qualifications

• Experience of cleaning in a childcare or similar environment.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to childcare settings (COSHH).
• Friendly and proactive approach to keep spaces safe and welcoming.

Responsibilities

• Keeping all nursery areas clean, tidy, and safe for children and staff.
• Carrying out regular cleaning tasks, including floors, surfaces, and shared spaces.
• Following hygiene and safety guidelines to maintain a healthy environment.
