Qualifications

• 1 year’s experience within a Nursing Home or similar environment including personal care experience.
• Kitchen or laundry experience in work or a voluntary setting.
• Studying for or attained a care related qualification.
• Be registered with the Northern Ireland Social Care Council (NISCC).

Responsibilities

• Assist with all daily living activities including washing, dressing, and toileting.
• Follow guidelines for safe movement of clients.
• Complete all relevant kitchen related duties including meal preparation.
• Perform laundry washing, drying, and ironing duties.
• Attend staff meetings and training sessions.
• Complete all paperwork accurately.
• Ensure confidentiality at all times.
• Communicate regularly with the line manager.
