Job Overview

ASAP start, part‑time nanny needed for an amazing family in Chelmsford, Essex.

• Working hours: 8 am–4 pm.
• Days required: Monday, Tuesday, and two Sundays per month.
• Location: just outside Chelmsford, Essex.
• Pets: two cats (being re‑homed by January).
• Driving: ideally, but not essential.
• Pay: £15.600 per annum (£15 per hour Gross).

Responsibilities

A lovely 3‑year‑old boy needs a kind, patient, understanding and engaging nanny to help with fun and educational activities. He enjoys painting, playdough, playing cars and sometimes likes walks in the park. The nanny will:

• Support his learning and playtime.
• Assist with his nap schedule and use initiative to tidy and manage household tasks such as loading/unloading the dishwasher.
• Be aware of dairy allergies and intolerances.
• Provide care on the two Sundays each month.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum 2+ years experience caring for children; SEN experience preferred.
• Up‑to‑date enhanced DBS certification.
• 12‑hour Paediatric First Aid Certificate.
• Minimum NVQ3 / Diploma in child care.
• Two professional referees (one current or last employer) who are immediately contactable.
• Personal insurance recommended.
