The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience, a first aid certificate, and a kind yet firm demeanor. Responsibilities include planning engaging activities and managing nursery duties. Competitive hourly rate of £20 to £25, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. Driving is a bonus but not essential.

Live out Nanny Job, Woolwich (moving to Earl's Court area), Flexible start (from now to January)

A new client of Greycoat Lumleys is looking for a Live out Nanny to care for their first child, a little girl who will soon turn 2 years old. Mum will be around, particularly during the initial transition phase, so someone comfortable with part shared care is essential.

The family is looking for someone who is kind, friendly and loving yet firm when necessary. Someone who is pleasant and has a positive approach. They want a nanny who will make their daughter’s day enjoyable with creative 1-2-1 activities that challenge her curiosity and bring happy interactions even during nappy changes, bath and meal times. Mum will be cooking her main meals to start with, but the parents would like the nanny to try new foods and snacks (vegetarian) with her. The family is looking for a real team player who will offer suggestions but will also be receptive to the parents’ feedback and ideas.

The family is planning to move to Earl's Court / Kensington area in either January or April 2026.

Five years of experience is essential, as well as an up to date first aid certificate and DBS.

Duties:
  • All nursery duties
  • Trying new foods with the child (vegetarian) / Mum will cook her food at the beginning
  • Age-appropriate activities
  • Local playgrounds and playgroups
  • Doing the child’s laundry
  • Potty training when ready
  • Bath time
  • Accompanying mum and/or dad and baby to social commitments

Salary: £20 to £25 gross per hour

Days: Monday to Friday

Hours: 9am to 5pm

Driving: bonus but not essentialTravel: not required

Language: English essential, Hindi bonus

Other staff employed: housekeeper and cook
