Job Overview

A warm, kind and engaging nanny is needed to join a lovely family two days a week, caring for their happy and independent little girl. She is a sociable baby who adores music, is confidently crawling, and babbles away with enthusiasm. The family are looking for someone who will tune into her cues, follow her lead, and create a calm, nurturing environment that supports her natural curiosity and development.

Responsibilities

• Support the child's routine, prep simple and healthy meals and snacks, and encourage her love of play and exploration.
• Use the large garden and nearby country park, farms, playgrounds and playgroups to bring variety and fun to her week.
• During school holidays, also care for her lively and friendly 4‑year‑old brother, supporting his active adventures and planning age‑appropriate activities.
• Become a positive, consistent presence in the children’s lives and build a warm, trusting bond with them.

Requirements

• Up‑to‑date enhanced eDBS certificate registered on the updated service.
• 12‑hour paediatric first aid certificate.
• Minimum of two professional referees, with one reference from current or last employer, all immediately contactable.
• Appropriate personal insurance is recommended.

Working Hours & Days

Tuesdays and Wednesdays, 7 am – 7 pm.

Salary & Benefits

Pay: £21,216 gross per annum (higher depending on experience).
