Rose Nannies Ltd. in Epsom seeks a nurturing, reliable after-school nanny for two children aged 5 and 8. The role focuses on school pickups, driving to activities, snacks and settling the children at home after school.
You should be warm, confident with boundaries and able to commit long-term (at least 12 months). Driving is essential and an own car is preferred; Ofsted registration is welcome but not required.
The role will involve school pick-ups, driving the children to their after-school activities, trips to the park or library, preparing snacks and helping the children get settled at home. The nanny will need to be confident managing the children’s activities and driving them to and from their various commitments.
The family are looking for someone who is warm, nurturing and understanding, whilst also being confident with boundaries, structure and discipline when required. Nurturing and attentive childcare is particularly important to the family, and they are looking for someone who is genuinely committed to a long-term role of at least 12 months.
Driving is essential for this role and ideally the nanny will have their own car. Ofsted registration is preferred, although not essential.
Hours: Approximately 11 hours per week over 4 days, generally between 2:30pm and 6pm, with some flexibility around the days for the right candidate. Approximate hours are broken down here:
Working Weeks: Term time only, approximately 37 weeks per year.
Salary: £12,000–£14,000 per annum, depending on experience and suitability.
