Job summary

Mereside Medical is seeking a part-time Delivery Driver to provide a safe, secure, and courteous medicines delivery service. You will deliver medicines to patients at homes or approved locations, and transfer items between sites in line with SOPs.

The role requires a reliable driver with good communication and the ability to work independently. We welcome applicants seeking approximately 15 hours per week, with a part-time pattern up to 30 hours.

Qualifications

• Must be eligible to work in the UK.
• Full UK driving licence with clean record and ability to undertake delivery driving.
• Professional and respectful attitude when dealing with patients and colleagues.
• Ability to follow SOPs and written procedures precisely.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver medicines safely to patients and agreed locations.
• Transport medicines and other items securely between sites.
• Use the Delivery App/system to record routes, deliveries and transfers.
• Maintain secure custody of medicines and documents and protect from loss or unauthorised access.
• Refer any medication or clinical queries to the dispensary.
