Job summary

The Best Connection is seeking a Machine Operative to join a busy plastic moulding facility in Canterbury. This part-time role runs Monday to Thursday from 12pm to 2pm and involves operating moulding machinery, loading/unloading, and basic quality checks.

You will join a team-focused environment, where reliability, punctuality and attention to detail are valued. The role requires following health and safety procedures, keeping the area tidy, and reporting issues to the supervisor.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing or machine operation is desirable but not essential.
• Reliable and punctual with a good eye for detail.
• Able to work well in a fast-paced team environment.

Duties Include:

• Operating plastic moulding machinery
• Loading and unloading machines
• Monitoring the production process
• Carrying out basic quality checks
• Checking finished products for any defects
• Packing products ready for dispatch
• Keeping the work area clean and tidy
• Following all health & safety procedures
• Reporting any issues to the supervisor

The Ideal Candidate:

• Previous manufacturing or machine operating experience is desirable but not essential
• Reliable and punctual
• Good attention to detail
• Able to work well as part of a team
• Happy working in a fast-paced environment
• Willing to learn and follow instructions

Hours: Monday-Thursday, 12pm-2pm

£12.71 PER HOUR.
