Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking Lunchtime Supervisors to support primary schools across the Croydon and Greater London area. This role offers part-time, flexible hours during the school day, with a minimum of 2 hours per shift from roughly 11:30am to 1:30pm.

You will supervise pupils in the dining hall and playground, promote good manners and inclusive play, and work with school staff to ensure safe, smooth lunchtimes. Pay is 15.00 per hour, paid weekly via PAYE.

Responsibilities

• Supervise pupils in the dining hall and playground, ensuring their safety and well-being
• Promote positive behaviour, good manners and respectful interactions
• Support pupils during lunchtime, encouraging independence and good hygiene
• Encourage safe, inclusive and enjoyable playtime activities
• Respond calmly to minor behaviour issues and report concerns or safeguarding issues
• Assist with setting up and clearing away dining areas, maintaining a clean environment
• Support pupils with additional needs to participate fully
• Work with school staff to ensure a smooth lunchtime experience
• Ensure pupils return to class safely and punctually
