Job summary

Nuffield Health in Cheam is seeking a Lifeguard to supervise the pool area and surrounding facilities on a bank (ad-hoc) basis. You will ensure safety, assist members, and contribute to a welcoming environment at the gym.

Applicants must hold the National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) or equivalent and provide ongoing training records. The role offers a supportive team and development opportunities in a health-focused charity setting.

Responsibilities

• Help members stay safe and healthy when using wet side facilities (pool, spa, sauna, steam room)
• Be attentive and alert at all times
• Create a friendly, relaxed and professional environment
• Welcome and support members when using the facilities
• Pay close attention to safety and respond to incidents immediately
• Ensure Pool Safety Guidelines are followed at all times
