Office Angels in Nottingham is seeking an experienced Legal Cashier for a part-time role. You will join a busy Accounts Department within a reputable law firm, handling essential accounting tasks and ensuring compliance with legal financial procedures.

The position supports 22.5 hours per week across three days, offering an opportunity to develop your legal accounts experience within a professional team.

Qualifications

• At least one year's legal cashiering experience.
• Knowledge of the Solicitors Accounts Rules.
• A good understanding of VAT.
• Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient with Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Complete bank reconciliations efficiently.
• Process client and office account receipts.
• Check and process private client and Legal Aid bills.
• Set up and process electronic payments.
• Manage purchase ledger transactions.
• Reconcile petty cash and company credit cards.
• Assist with month-end and year-end procedures.
• Maintain accurate financial records.
• Support the wider Accounts Department as required.
