Job summary

The Black Jug in Horsham is seeking a dedicated part-time Kitchen Porter to support a busy kitchen team. You’ll help with cleaning, basic prep, and maintaining smooth kitchen operations behind the scenes.

Offering a basic up to £12.71 per hour plus tronc, paid overtime and cash tips. Benefits include free meals on shift, staff discounts, a Nest pension, and weekly pay to support your finances. This is a great entry into a growing pub group with development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Previous kitchen porter/kitchen assistant experience in a busy pub, restaurant, or hotel preferred but not essential.
• Keen to work in a friendly kitchen and be part of the team.

About you...

Previous experience as a kitchen assistant, kitchen porter, pot washer or kitchen cleaner in a busy pub, restaurant or hotel is preferred but not essential. Most importantly you will be keen to work in a friendly kitchen where you’ll really be part of the team.
