Job summary

Wycombe Heights Golf Centre, part of Burhill Group Limited (BGL), is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to support the Head Chef and help deliver high-quality food and dining in a busy club setting.

You will work with the kitchen team to keep operations smooth, maintain hygiene, and contribute to an outstanding customer experience while developing within the Burhill Group.

Responsibilities

• Support the Head Chef and kitchen team with day-to-day operations.
• Help deliver consistently high standards of food and service.
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene and food safety throughout the kitchen.
• Ensure kitchen equipment, worktops and crockery are cleaned and sanitised.
• Follow health & safety, food hygiene and company procedures.
• Report concerns related to health, safety or hygiene.
• Assist in care and maintenance of kitchen equipment and stock.
• Contribute to an outstanding customer experience and satisfaction.

Kitchen Assistant

We’re looking for an enthusiasticKitchen Assistantto join our team at Wycombe Heights Golf Centre and support our Head Chef in delivering a high-quality food and dining experience for our customers.

What you’ll be doing:

Working alongside the Head Chef and wider kitchen team, you’ll help ensure our kitchen runs smoothly, efficiently and to the highest standards.

Your role will include:

• Supporting theHead Chef and kitchen teamwith the day-to-day operation of the kitchen.
• Helping the team deliver consistently high standards of food and service.
• Maintaining excellentcleanliness, hygiene and food safety standardsthroughout the kitchen.
• Ensuring kitchen equipment, worktops, crockery and other areas are cleaned and sanitised correctly.
• Following allHealth & Safety, food hygiene and company procedures.
• Identifying and reporting any concerns relating to health, safety or hygiene.
• Supporting the care and maintenance of kitchen equipment, stock and other resources.
• Helping the kitchen team deliver an outstanding customer experience and maximise customer satisfaction.
• Keeping yourBGL Learning Portal compliance at 100%and completing required training.
• Working positively with the wider club team to ensure a great experience for every customer.

You’ll play an important role in helping us maintain the standards our customers expect.

Your success will be measured through:

• Customer satisfaction and loyalty, including Net Promoter Score (NPS).
• Strong performance inHealth & Safety audits.
• Feedback and reviews from theHead Chef and General Manager.
• Achievement of personal objectives and operational standards.
• Maintaining100% compliance with required training.
