Pulse Healthcare is recruiting an experienced Psychologist for a part-time inpatient role within an adult acute service, working across two wards in Cheshire.

You will join a well‑established multidisciplinary team (MDT), supervise pre‑qualified psychologists, and contribute to clinical formulation and intervention planning.

The role offers flexible working, autonomy, strong clinical governance, and opportunity to shape service delivery while maintaining a healthy work‑life balance.

Competenze

• HCPC registration as a Practitioner Psychologist.
• Experience working with adult mental health populations on inpatient/acute wards.
• Ability to work autonomously within an MDT setting.
• Experience supervising trainees or junior psychologists.
• Flexible, part-time availability (2 days per week).

Mansioni

• Work across two adult acute wards as part of an MDT.
• Provide clinical supervision to trainees and junior psychologists.
• Support formulation and intervention planning within the MDT.
• Occasionally carry a small caseload of more complex patients.
• Contribute to service development and quality improvement.
