Job description

A fantastic opportunity has emerged for a specialist Housing Services Manager to join one of Adecco's most improved public sector housing clients in a part time (17.5 hours per week, Wednesday afternoon to Friday evening), permanent contract. This car driving role is part of a job share, and will be reporting into the Stanhope office in Ashford, Kent. For the right candidate, our client will pay up to £32, per annum.

All applicants must possess previous experience of :
  • Managing up to 7 staff (preferably Housing / asb / neighbourhood officers) in the public sector
  • Leading, motivating and managing the neighbourhood teams to deliver excellent tenancy management and estate inspection services for residents.
  • Managing performance targets, producing statistics and analysing team performance and external trends to continuously improve service delivery.
  • Developing the Estate Inspection team to enable it to fulfil its task of improving the estate environment.
  • Co‑ordinating team meetings and delegating work related tasks to the tenancy management team.
  • Resolving complex anti‑social behaviour, leasehold and rent arrears cases.

This is a hybrid working role so you will only need to be in their Kent office 1-2 days each week. The client is looking for a member of staff who has experience in developing a professional customer‑focused service which meets the needs of residents and responds promptly to enquiries and complaints. Being a car driver and owner is essential.
