About the role

A wonderful down‑to‑earth family moving to Bishops Stortford, Essex are looking for a highly experienced and confident housekeeper to manage all aspects of running a home, including deep cleaning, laundry—particularly high‑end clothing—and general upkeep. The role requires a child‑friendly approach, though no childcare responsibilities are involved.

Responsibilities

• Running the household efficiently with minimal supervision.

Working Hours

Flexible 2‑3 days a week with a minimum of 10 hours per week. The position is for a self‑employed housekeeper.

Remuneration

£22 gross per hour. This is a permanent role.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years experience as a housekeeper.
• Minimum 2 professional referees, one of which must be your current or last employer and both immediately contactable.
