Job summary

Nicholas Associates Group Limited in Penrith is seeking a reliable Housekeeper to join our team on a part-time, permanent basis. You will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining designated areas to a high standard, with a focus on order, cleanliness and a professional environment.

The role offers immediate start, flexible hours, and ongoing training within a friendly team, with a competitive pay rate and DBS checks as part of safeguarding.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is preferred but not essential.
• Strong eye for detail and high standards of cleanliness.
• Reliable, trustworthy and punctual.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload.
• Good communication skills.
• DBS check required at the point of application.
• Willing to undergo Enhanced DBS check if required.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and maintaining all designated areas to a high standard.
• Dusting, vacuuming, mopping and sanitising surfaces.
• Managing laundry and changing bedding where required.
• Replenishing cleaning supplies and reporting stock shortages.
• Ensuring health and safety procedures are followed at all times.
• Reporting maintenance issues or concerns promptly.
• Supporting the wider team to ensure a clean, safe and welcoming environment.
