JOB DESCRIPTION AND PERSON SPECIFICATION

Job title

Part time Host – 3 days per week

Purpose

As Guest Experience Host you will curate memorable experiences that bring our brand to life during the guest journey, ensuring our guests come back for more.

Reporting

Responsible to: General Manager

Location and hours

Based at Manchester primarily. We work flexibly – this includes flexibility in work location, working days (including weekends and bank holidays in operations) and working hours. Our core working hours are 25.5 hours per week.

Responsibilities
Guest experience
  • Act as an ambassador of the brand, creating authentic experiences and sanctuaries for guests from the moment they arrive until they leave.
  • Support and deliver the guest experience through face‑to‑face interactions when guests are not receiving virtual support via our dedicated app, ensuring all guest queries are answered efficiently and effectively.
  • Think quickly on your feet to solve problems while remaining calm.
  • Deliver our guest experience by contributing a feeling of simplicity, calm and sanctuary.
  • Seek new and smarter ways to deliver soulful hospitality to our guests through creativity and innovation.
Operations
  • Assist with deliveries to site, ensuring all products are stored out of guest view safely and securely.
  • Be comfortable working as part of a team within the property and support functions, as well as owning your own responsibilities.
  • Ensure the building operates within all safety guidelines as directed by the Operations Manager, ensuring the team and guests alike are safe and secure.
  • Liaise with maintenance and housekeeping teams to resolve any issues quickly and efficiently.
  • Step outside of the core role to complete any other operational task as required by your line manager or wider team.
  • Be self‑sufficient, requiring little direction and day‑to‑day management.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience within hospitality is highly desirable (hotels, student living, hostels, build‑to‑rent accommodation, or wider hospitality sectors).
  • Tech‑savvy, comfortable with technology‑based resolutions and interactions.
