Job summary

Adecco in Swindon is seeking a Part Time Host to cover sickness absence in a hospital setting. You will deliver safe, compassionate food and beverage services to patients across wards, and take meal orders on tablet systems.

You will support patients in choosing meals, assist the team during lunch, supper, and hydration rounds, and adapt to a fast-paced environment with a friendly, proactive approach.

Qualifications

• Friendly, approachable demeanor with excellent communication.
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
• Customer service or hospitality experience is advantageous.
• Proactive attitude and willingness to assist team members and guests.
• Flexible to work varied hours.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, safe and compassionate food and beverage service to patients across hospital wards.
• Take and process patient meal orders using tablet-based ordering systems.
• Provide support to patients who may need assistance choosing suitable meals.
• Support with daily lunch and supper meal services, as well as multiple hydration rounds throughout the shift.
