Job summary

B&Q Holywood Exchange is hiring a Customer Advisor on a part-time basis. The role covers 18.75 hours per week under a 3-month fixed-term contract, with shifts across Monday to Sunday, 7.00am to 10.00pm. You’ll be a friendly advisor helping customers with home improvement needs and supporting in-store displays and stock management.

Salary is notional at £13.10 per hour. The ideal candidate is personable, eager to learn, and comfortable working a rota that includes evenings, weekends and bank

Qualifications

• Friendly and outgoing; enjoys helping others.
• Willing to learn and expand skills with new technology.
• Able to work on a rota including weekends, evenings and bank holidays.
• Sales experience or aptitude is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Becomes an expert advisor, guiding customers on home improvement needs.
• Assist with stock management, setting up displays and keeping the store presentable.
• Support sales efforts and help customers, providing great service.
• Learn paint-mixing and timber-cutting as part of training.
