Job summary

Pure Staff Driving seeks experienced Part-Time HGV Class 1 Drivers for Hereford. You can tailor shifts to fit around life, with options from one shift a week to weekends or specific days. You will transport palletised goods on nationwide routes using modern articulated vehicles.

We offer clear payslips, weekly PAYE, and transparent holiday pay options. A UK Cat C+E licence, CPC card and at least 6 months of Class 1 experience are required, with up to six penalty points accepted.

Qualifications

• Requires UK Category C+E licence and Driver CPC.
• Minimum 6 months HGV Class 1 driving experience.

• Reliability and safety-conscious approach.
• Good understanding of driver hours and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver/pickup palletised goods across nationwide routes.

Job description

Pure Staff's Driving Team are recruiting experienced Part-Time HGV Class 1 Drivers for one of our long-standing customers based in Hereford. Not every HGV Class 1 Driver wants to work five days a week. Whether you're looking for one shift a week, three shifts a week, weekends only or specific days that fit around your lifestyle, we'll do our best to build a regular driving rota around your availability.

Pay Rates

Monday to Friday (Days) - £18.50ph (+ holiday accrued) or £20.73ph (with Rolled-Up Holiday Pay)

Monday to Friday (Nights) - £21.50ph (+ holiday accrued) or £24.10ph (with Rolled-Up Holiday Pay)

Weekend (Days) - £21.50ph (+ holiday accrued) or £24.10ph (with Rolled-Up Holiday Pay)

Weekend (Nights) - £24.00ph (+ holiday accrued) or £26.90ph (with Rolled-Up Holiday Pay)

The Role

As a Part-Time HGV Class 1 Driver in Hereford, you'll be transporting palletised goods using modern articulated vehicles across nationwide distribution routes. Typical work includes:

• Average shift lengths of 8-10 hours (occasional 12-hour shifts)

What You'll Need

To be successful as a Part-Time HGV Class 1 Driver in Hereford, you'll need:

• UK Category C+E Licence
• Valid Driver CPC Card
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Minimum 6 month's HGV Class 1 driving experience
• No more than 6 penalty points
• Professional, reliable and safety-conscious approach
• Good understanding of Driver Hours, Working Time Regulations and vehicle safety checks
• Previous palletised distribution or general haulage experience is beneficial but not essential
