Fife Sports and Leisure Trust is seeking a part-time Gym Instructor to provide safe supervision of gym users and to tailor personal programmes. The role follows a fixed shift pattern including days, back shifts and weekends to ensure peak-time coverage and high service standards.

Responsibilities include conducting fitness assessments, advising on health benefits, promoting Leisure Active membership, and delivering group exercise sessions where qualified.

Qualifications

• Level 2 Gym Instructor or equivalent qualification.
• First Aid at Work certification.
• PVG scheme membership required prior to appointment.

Responsabilités

• Induct customers to ensure safe and correct use of gym equipment.
• Carry out fitness assessments and prescribe appropriate health and fitness programmes.
• Promote and inform customers about Leisure Active membership and related products.
• Deliver group exercise classes where qualified (e.g., cycles, circuits).
• Maintain high levels of customer service and promote a safe gym environment.
• Work a predetermined shift pattern including days, back shifts and weekends.
• Attend training and development sessions as required.
