Job summary

St Catherine's Surgery in Birkenhead, Wirral, is offering a salaried GP role on a part-time basis. The successful candidate will work 4-6 sessions per week, join a large practice with a multi-disciplinary team, and contribute to delivering high-quality primary care.

The post includes pro-rata holiday entitlement and is subject to GMC registration, DBS checks, and NHS regulations. Closing date 9 November 2026.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified GP with GMC registration.
• Experience of working within Primary Care.

Responsibilities

• Undertake telephone and face-to-face consultations with a wide range of patients (15-minute appointments).
• Manage patient demand, collaborating with colleagues in the Clinical Hub (triage).
• Conduct home visits when clinically necessary.
• Prescribe, request, and interpret investigations, and manage referrals as appropriate.
• Record clear and contemporaneous consultation notes to agreed standards.
• Fulfil on-call duties as required.
