Job summary

The Uplands Medical Practice is seeking an enthusiastic and patient focused Salaried GP to join our friendly and supportive team for 3 sessions a week, on a 6 month fixed contract. The role involves a mix of face-to-face, telephone, and video consultations, including urgent on-the-day appointments.

You will work within a progressive, well-established GP practice with a supportive multidisciplinary team and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• MBBS/MBChB or equivalent medical qualification.
• Full GMC Registration with Licence to Practise.
• Inclusion on the NHS England Medical Performers List.
• MRCGP qualification or equivalent.
• Experience working in UK General Practice.
• Experience conducting face-to-face consultations.
• Experience undertaking telephone and video consultations.
• Experience managing urgent on-the-day appointments.
• Experience managing long-term conditions and complex patients.
• Strong IT skills and experience using EMIS Web.

Responsibilities

• Work in accordance with GMC regulations.
• Participate in practice meetings and clinical governance activities.
• Contribute to quality improvement and audit projects.
• Maintain continuing professional development and mandatory training.
• Work collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team.
• Support training and development of colleagues where appropriate.

Education

MBBS/MBChB or equivalent medical qualification
