Job summary

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in a relevant subject area.
• Teaching qualification or willingness to work towards one.
• Industry experience and specialist knowledge in forestry/arboriculture or related land-based area.
• Clear understanding of how learners progress and how teaching supports diverse needs.
• Excellent communication, IT and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver highly effective, well-sequenced lessons.
• Support learners of all starting points to develop knowledge, practical skills and behaviours.
• Adapt teaching to meet individual learner needs, including SEND.
• Track learner progress, provide timely feedback and intervene when progress stalls.
• Contribute to curriculum development, quality improvement, recruitment and employer engagement.
