Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced Financial Director to lead their finance function. This part-time role involves overseeing all financial operations, ensuring compliance, and supporting strategic business decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead financial reporting, budgeting, and cashflow forecasting
  • Maintain compliance with tax, payroll, and regulatory requirements
  • Oversee payroll, HR compliance, and company taxation (including MTD)
  • Manage credit control and working capital
  • Maintain and improve finance systems and back-office processes
  • Advise directors on financial planning, compliance, and risk
  • Liaise with auditors, banks, and external advisors
Skills & Experience ideally required
  • Proven financial leadership in an SME environment
  • Strong knowledge of payroll, tax (including MTD), and compliance
  • Experience with credit control and cashflow management
  • Comfortable with finance systems and IT tools
