Job summary

A local recruitment agency is seeking a part-time Finance Assistant in Skelmersdale. You will be responsible for managing Sales and Purchase Ledger tasks, ensuring financial accuracy and efficiency while working in a friendly, supportive team. Ideal candidates will have experience in finance, be detail-oriented, and be proficient in Sage 50 or EDI. The role offers flexible hours and a competitive salary ranging from £14,000 to £15,000 for 20 hours a week.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Sales and/or Purchase Ledger is essential.
  • Knowledge of Sage 50 & EDI is desirable.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Processing sales invoices on Sage 50 & EDI.
  • Raising recharge invoices and allocating customer receipts.
  • Managing credit control and resolving queries.
  • Maintaining the Sales Ledger and Invoice Finance.
  • Processing purchase invoices and preparing for approvals.
  • Reconciling supplier statements and maintaining the Purchase Ledger.
  • Supporting other finance tasks as required.
