Responsibilities

Daily responsibilities may involve assisting individuals in developing independent living skills, such as cleaning, cooking, personal care, laundry/ironing, budgeting, paying bills, and meal planning/shopping. You will also coordinate and attend appointments related to health and housing needs, support medication administration, and help individuals engage with the community through activities they enjoy.

Qualifications & Requirements

We are currently looking for a dedicated and compassionate part‑time Female Support Worker to join our team in Southport. The ideal candidate shares our core values and has the skills to support those in need, with an understanding and experience working with autism and complex behaviours. Previous experience in a specialist autism setting and knowledge of autism‑specific approaches to communication, learning, and positive behaviour support are required. Experience working closely with families in a support capacity and the ability to handle a variety of tasks with flexibility and initiative are essential. Required: a full, clean UK/EU driving licence. Provisional or international licences are not accepted due to insurance requirements.
