Harmony at Home Limited in Portishead is seeking a part-time Family PA to support a busy family with after-school childcare, meal planning and home management.

Responsibilities include childcare, cooking, laundry, school runs, wardrobe, organising the home and liaising with contractors. Some overnight care may be required when Mum travels; there could be extra hours during school holidays. Driving with your own car is essential. Pay is £18 gross per hour.

Qualifications

Job description

Are you organised, proactive and calm? This family in Portishead are looking for a part time Family PA.

This is a varied role and your duties will include such things as childcare, menu planning, cooking meals, family laundry, school runs, making appointments, wardrobe and house management, liaising with contractors, organising the home, bringing calm and organisation to a busy household. The cooking of meals is mainly for the boy but Mum would love it if occasionally enough can be made for her too. There will be some overnight care required when Mum travels for work and some ad hoc hours as and when needed. There could also be extra hours in the school holidays.

The ideal candidate will have experience of running a home, show organisation skills, have a warm and calm personality, be flexible if the family requires extra/ad hoc hours, enjoy arranging and organising fun activities for children and be looking for a long term position where they can become an integral part of the family.

Mum is a solo parent to the 6 year old boy and they travel 4 times a year to visit Dad. The boy is active and enjoys swimming, sports and is loving learning to read and write at school so someone who can encourage this would be great. They live in a 4 bed townhouse with a small garden but with parks nearby.

The hours offered below are ideal however there is some flexibility and the core hours are 4-6pm for the childcare aspect of the position. There is also the potential of more hours for someone to carry out further light household duties.
