A reputable educational institution in Crawley seeks a part-time Qualified English Teacher for maternity cover starting January 2026. Hours: Part-Time, 2 Days per Week (Tuesday and Thursday)
Salary: M1 - M6 (FTE: £31,350 - £42,689) depending on experience, pro-rata
We are seeking an enthusiastic, dynamic, and Qualified English Teacher to join our dedicated faculty on a part-time basis to cover a one-year maternity leave starting in January 2026.
This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated teacher to make a real impact on our students' development. The role requires a commitment of two days per week (Tuesday and Thursday) and involves teaching English across Key Stages 3 and 4 (ages 11-16).

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in English or a related subject.

Be committed to maintaining high standards of behaviour and academic challenge.
Be adept at using digital platforms for homework and student tracking (e.g., Show My Homework/Satchel: One experience is beneficial).
