Job summary

Kanz is seeking an Electrical Appointed Person to join our United Utilities Framework in Blackburn. This role, requiring fifteen hours per week with flexible hours, focuses on leading electrical teams, issuing permits, and ensuring safe work practices. Candidates should have a CSCS affiliated Electrical Supervisor card, strong supervisory experience, and relevant qualifications such as BS7671 18th Edition. Qualifications

• Proven supervisory experience in electrical works.
• Experienced in issuing permits and working as an Electrical Appointed Person.
• Knowledge of WIMES and hazardous area compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and allocate work to electrical supervisors, electricians and apprentices.
• Issue permits for electrical works and ensure safe systems of work.
• Monitor progress, track daily outputs, and resolve issues.

Skills

CSCS affiliated Electrical Supervisor card

Supervisory experience in electrical works

Strong understanding of Electricity at Work Regulations

Excellent communication and leadership skills
