Job summary

Hopefield Nursery Class, located within Blackburn Primary School, is seeking a part-time ELC Practitioner to join a forward-thinking team. The role involves working 18 hours per week across Tuesday, Thursday, and alternate Friday sessions to support the wellbeing, development and learning of children aged 2-5 years.

The successful applicant will have at least an HNC/SVQ3 in Early Education and Childcare or equivalent, must register with the SSSC, and will be required to join or update the PVG

Qualifications

• Education to HNC/SVQ3 level in Early Education and Childcare or equivalent.
• Registration with the SSSC is required.
• PVG Scheme membership or update check is required before a formal offer.
• This is Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children and/or Protected Adults under the PVG Act.

Responsibilities

• Join a dedicated team as a part-time ELC Practitioner, working Tue, Thu and alternate Fri.
• Provide high-quality interactions, learning and teaching experiences to support wellbeing and development.
• Respond to individual needs of each child and contribute to a nurturing environment.
