Job summary

East Dunbartonshire Council is seeking a part-time Early Years practitioner for 7 hours per week, delivered on Fridays. You will work within a team to provide high-quality learning experiences for children, with a sound knowledge of local and national curriculum guidance and care standards.

A strong focus on confidentiality and safeguarding is essential. The role requires a relevant childcare qualification and membership of the PVG Scheme or a PVG update where applicable, with the cost deducted

Qualifications

• Must possess a relevant childcare qualification as defined in the role profile.
• PVG/Disclosure checks are essential for all roles.
• Where the post is Regulated under the Disclosure (Scotland) Act 2020, PVG Scheme membership or update is required prior to confirmation of employment.
• The cost of the PVG check will be deducted from the successful candidate's first salary payment.
