Job summary

Bright Horizons Millhouses Nursery in Sheffield is seeking an Early Years Practitioner to join our team. The role runs Monday to Friday, 10:30 AM - 2:30 PM, with a pay rate from £13.50 per hour depending on qualification and experience.

You will plan and deliver engaging activities, ensuring a safe and supportive learning environment for each child. You'll contribute to the EYFS framework, build strong partnerships with parents, and participate in a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

  • Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification.
  • Passion for creating fun and inclusive learning environments.
  • Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
  • Ability to develop trust and strong working partnerships with colleagues and parents/carers.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, create, implement and reflect on engaging activities tailored to each child.
  • Create a safe environment that allows children to express themselves and develop a lifelong love of learning.
  • Role is to support development toward key milestones through nurturing, play-based learning.
