Part-Time Early Years Practitioner

(Permanent and Long-Term Supply Contracts Available) High Wycombe Primary School

High Wycombe Primary School is seeking to appoint a Part-Time Early Years Practitioner to join our friendly and dedicated early years team. This role is offered on a 0.4 contract (2 days per week), starting in December 2025 or January 2026, with opportunities for both permanent and long-term supply contracts.

The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic and caring practitioner who is passionate about supporting young children in their early development. Applicants must be able to demonstrate experience and/or skills in supporting pupils within the classroom, as well as delivering individual or small group interventions to enhance learning and progress.

It is essential that candidates hold a relevant Ofsted-approved Early Years qualification at Level 3 or above.

In addition, the ideal applicant will:

  • Have strong communication skills and a professional, approachable manner
  • Be positive, flexible, and adaptable to a range of learning environments
  • Demonstrate the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Show initiative in supporting both learning and pupil well-being
