Job summary

N Family Club in Hove, East Sussex, is seeking an Early Years Educator for lunch cover 20 hours per week. You’ll nurture curiosity through the N Curriculum, support routines, and help children thrive in a playful, caring environment.

This part-time role offers a competitive pro-rata salary (£13,613.50–£15,413 per year), access to training, and a range of benefits, including generous holidays and staff discounts, while you develop your career in our innovative nursery group.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in an early years environment.
• Level 2 or above Early Years qualification (full & relevant).
• Paediatric First Aid (12 hours) and a willingness to train.
• Up-to-date safeguarding knowledge (or willingness to refresh).
• A genuine passion for education and changing the lives of children.
• A team player with a can-do attitude and positive mindset.
• Confident communicator with a love for customer service.

Responsibilities

• Inspire learning through our play-based N Curriculum.
• Support smooth daily routines - from mealtimes to naptimes.
• Create and implement development-focused activity plans.
• Carry out observations, assessments and planning for your key children; build strong relationships with children and families.
• Ensure your classroom is a safe, clean, and engaging environment at all times.
• Embed all policies and procedures into your daily practice.
• Be a positive role model - collaborate, motivate, and share your ideas.
