Job summary

Chalkwell Dental Practice is seeking a friendly and professional Dental Nurse to join the private practice team on a part-time basis. You will work closely with clinicians to provide chairside support and ensure patients receive high-quality care in a modern setting near the beach.

We offer GDC registration, ongoing training, a pension scheme, and various staff benefits. The role includes Monday and Friday shifts with competitive hourly pay up to £14.00 depending on experience.

Qualifications

• GDC registration as a Dental Nurse is required.
• Previous experience in a dental practice is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to high clinical and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide chairside support to clinicians.
• Prepare surgeries and ensure instruments and materials are ready.
• Support clinicians across dental procedures.
• Welcomes and reassures patients during treatment.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Observe infection prevention and control procedures.
• Clean, sterilise and maintain dental instruments and equipment.
• Keep surgeries clean, stocked and well organised.
• Support efficient practice operations and clinical sessions.
• Collaborate with the wider dental team to ensure quality patient care.
