Job summary

Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking an experienced Dental Nurse to join the Paediatric Dentistry, Orthodontic and Oral & Maxillofacial outpatient department at St Helier Hospital. The role is part-time (22.5 hours per week) and requires GDC registration with a recognised dental nurse qualification.

Desirable but not essential is an Inhalation Sedation Certificate; full induction and training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Must hold GDC registration and a recognised dental nurse qualification.
• Inhalation Sedation Certificate desirable but not essential; training will be supplied.
• Experience in a hospital setting would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Care for paediatric patients in restorative dentistry and during GA lists.
• Assist in outpatients within Paediatric Dentistry, Orthodontics and Oral & Maxillofacial units.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care with the MDT.
