Job summary

SPAR Kilwaughter in Larne, part of Henderson Group, is hiring a Daily Deli Team Member. You will greet customers, advise on products, prepare and serve deli items, and maintain clean prep areas in line with food safety regulations.

Part-time 25.5 hours per week, 6:00am–4:00pm, Monday to Sunday. The successful candidate will join a team that values Ambition, Customer First, Teamwork and Integrity, with training and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Don't worry if you have no previous retail or foodservice experience - we'll provide you with all the right training.

Responsibilities

• Listen to and understand our customers' needs and advising customers about our products and services.
• Provide a first class service to all of our customers.
• Prepare, cook and bake goods, working within food safety regulations.
• Keeping prep areas and counters clean and tidy, including kitchen porter and production kitchen duties.
• Work as part of a team to ensure all counters - SPAR Bakery and Daily deli remain fresh and appetizing for our customers.
• Undertake other duties as required for the role.
