Job summary

Co-op Group is looking for Customer Team Members to join our store teams in the Wirral area. You will help deliver friendly, helpful service on the shop floor and tills, with shifts 9am–4pm over 5 days, including weekends.

Full paid training is provided and you’ll be part of a community-focused store. You’ll work in a busy Co-op store, supporting shelves, prices and stock, and you may assist in post office, bakery or online order pickup as needed.

Qualifications

• A genuine passion for helping people and delivering great customer service.
• Ability to work flexibly across a number of shifts.
• Interest in retail and working in a busy store environment (experience not essential).

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly and thoughtful service to customers.
• Work with your team to keep the store running smoothly.
• Operate on the shop floor and tills and support daily operations for a great shopping experience.
• Keep shelves stocked, check prices, dates and stock accuracy.
• Ensure store safety and legality, monitor temperatures and product dates.
• Promote Co-op Membership and support the local community.
