Job summary

Co-op Group is hiring Customer Team Members for a store in Port Seton, Scotland. The role is part-time (16 hours per week) with permanent status and regular overtime.

Training is provided, and you may work a mix of opening, middle, and closing shifts, including weekends. You’ll help keep shelves stocked, assist customers, and potentially contribute to bakery or online order fulfilment while promoting Co-op membership and local community engagement.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service is a plus but not required.
• Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-moving store.
• Willingness to work a mix of shifts, including weekends and early mornings.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly and helpful service to customers on the shop floor and tills.
• Assist with post office, bakery, or online order fulfilment as needed.
• Keep shelves stocked, check prices and stock accuracy.
• Support daily store operations to create a positive shopping experience.
• Promote Co-op Membership and community initiatives.
