Making Space Charity seeks a Part Time Cook to serve residents at Kingshill Court in Wigan, with responsibilities across Ashwood Court facilities. The role covers detailed kitchen management, menu planning and budget adherence while ensuring dietary needs are met and standards are compliant.

Training provided to develop professional qualifications if desired. You will work 25 hours weekly with a rate of £13.12 per hour, based at Kingshill Court and covering adjacent services as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous kitchen/catering experience.
• Ability to follow dietary requirements and budgets.
• Food hygiene skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Organise and control the efficient production of quality freshly prepared food.
• Meet individual dietary requirements and stay within budgets.
• Review menus with residents and act on feedback.
