Part Time Cover Lecturer and Industrial Specialist - FTC

We're looking for a motivated and knowledgeable professional to join our Defence Manufacturing and Engineering team, supporting both project delivery and curriculum development. You'll bring specialist expertise in areas such as lean manufacturing, warehousing, and manufacturing support processes, while also contributing to innovative projects including OfS and Hydrogen initiatives. Teaching will be delivered through both intensive bootcamp sessions and traditional classroom formats, focusing on practical and theoretical learning aligned with defence and aerospace manufacturing standards, quality systems, lean production, health and safety, and effective communication.

In addition to teaching, you'll play a key role in advising the engineering project team – helping shape workshop equipment selection, layout design, infrastructure development, and fostering a strong safety culture across the Motor Vehicle and Engineering departments. This is a one-year temporary position with the potential for review and extension at the end of the term.
